The flagship OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro is the most the anticipated smartphone of 2021. The good news is that the specs of these handsets have been confirmed lately ahead of their launch. 

Key Specs of OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro 


The flagship model OnePlus 9 will boasts 5G support & a massive 4500 mAh battery. The handset will be fuelled by Snapdragon 888 chipset. OnePlus 9 will come in two variants: 8GB and 128GB. The other model will have 12GB RAM and 256 GB memory storage. In terms of screen real estate, the OnePlus 9 will sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ display that renders a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels.

The OnePlus 9 Pro, on the other hand,  will sport 5G support and a 4500 mAh battery. It will also carry the same Snapdragon 888 chipset and it will be on shelves in two variants with 8 and 12 GB of RAM with 128 and 256 GB of storage respectively. 

While the hardware is identical, the screen is the only differentiating factor between these two phones. The OnePlus 9 Pro will come with a 6.7 inch Fluid AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440x3216 pixels.

Coming to the third and OnePlus 9R- the CEO Pete Lau confirmed that this handset will target the low-cost market and will be a pro performer in all aspects. Apart from the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9R, &  OnePlus 9 Pro, the manufacturer is all set to roll out its first smartwatch in eight years. The OnePlus 9 series will be available from March 23.
